THE TOWING LINE - CURSE OR BLESSING?

OR: WHY GOOD TRAINING MAKES SENSE

Do you have a boisterous young dog? Or are you walking your dog in the woods during the breeding and nesting season, where leashes are mandatory? But you still want your dog to enjoy freedom of movement?

Then a long line is the tool of choice! Please absolutely avoid the retractable leashes, which HUNDHOCH2 unfortunately finds far too popular . While they may seem practical, they pose some significant dangers:

  • Severed tails and fingers are not uncommon!

  • If the handle of the retractable leash falls to the ground, your dog may be startled. He might then run away in a panic, in the worst-case scenario running into the road. If the handle of the retractable leash rattles behind the fleeing dog, a lifelong noise phobia can develop.

It's better to use a long leash, just to be safe!

In the long line course at HUNDHOCH2 you will learn the correct handling of the long line, important signals and ways to keep your dog occupied.

After the course, nothing stands in the way of a relaxed walk with your four-legged friend and a long leash!
