FUN SPORTS
LEVEL A

The terms and conditions apply.
WHY A FUN SPORTS COURSE?
Do you enjoy training your dog and would you like to do more of it?
Have you already practiced and reinforced basic obedience exercises with him?
Can your dog already sit and stay until you call him back or give a follow command? Even when you move away?
Does he respond reasonably well to your call back?
Does he have his behavior somewhat under control and does he know what "no" means?
Great! Then your team is ready for a Level A fun sports course.
WHAT IS FUN SPORT?
SpassSport comprises a total of 60 exercises from four categories:
bond between human and dog
guide
skill
Nose work
The exercises are divided into three difficulty levels :
A
B1
B2
Level A includes the simplest exercises, with the requirements for the teams increasing continuously from A through B1 to B2.
At all three levels, individual exercises from the above-mentioned categories of bonding, leading, mobility and nose work are developed and practiced, totaling 20 different exercises.
Level A, the easiest of the levels, includes the following exercises:
Slalom around everyday objects, off-leash
To bypass an obstacle
Slalom around people
Retrieving under distraction
Running in the middle position
Walking through a pole maze together
Send the dog onto a pedestal.
Standing in or on an object
Jumping through a hula hoop
Freely selectable tricks
Slalom through the legs
Find and bring 2 personal items
Searching for food in containers
And much more
Good to know:
The exercises are designed so that with some dedication to training and a gradual, step-by-step approach, they can be performed safely after some time.
However, FunSport does not replace a basic or advanced course – dogs should already have a certain level of basic obedience .
Those who wish can demonstrate their acquired skills with their dog in competitions , where they can compete in one of the three difficulty classes A, B1 or B2 (or a combination thereof).

CONTENT
The HUNDHOCH2 fun sport course "The Basics" focuses on the cooperation between humans and dogs, and on variety and versatility in training.
Of course, it's also about fun. For both dog and human. You won't find "fixated heeling" or precise sitting down to the millimeter, as in other dog sports, in SpassSport.
In this course, we place emphasis on:
Positive training structure , with "payment" from the dog for good work.
We practice in small steps and increase gradually .
In the FunSport course, level A, we learn, among other things:
Slalom around everyday objects, off-leash
To bypass an obstacle
Slalom around people
Retrieval under distraction
Running in the middle position
Go through a pole maze together.
Send the dog onto a pedestal.
Standing inside or on an object
Jumping through a hula hoop
Freely selectable stunts
slalom through the person's legs
Searching for and retrieving two personal items
Foraging in containers
And much more
