- Focusing attention away from play / preliminary exercise for recall.

- How does good training work?
- What is important when it comes to visual and auditory signals (commands)?
- Rewarding – marker word and praise word.

- Overstimulation and understimulation – how much rest does a puppy need?
- And much more.
WHY SIX TRAINING SESSIONS?
Why does the puppy course at HUNDHOCH2 comprise six training sessions, even though many other dog schools offer it with four hours?
- HUNDHOCH2 finds it important that dogs are well cared for by their owners. Puppies in particular depend on good care and extensive knowledge from their owners.
- HUNDHOCH2 therefore passes on a great deal of knowledge to the owners of puppies and explains the exercises well and in detail. This ensures that the “puppy people” practice correctly at home and in everyday life and that the training is successful.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO ATTEND MORE LESSONS?
Did your puppy move in with you at a very early age and you have already completed the six training sessions? However, you would like to continue participating in the puppy group course?
- Additional training sessions are of course bookable, as long as there is space in the group course and your puppy is not yet 20 weeks old. The content may be repetitive, but as we all know, repetition is the key to learning.
- Please contact HUNDHOCH2 (see menu bar, via “Contact form”). Each additional 75-minute group training session will be charged at CHF 50.
- Private training and getting answers to burning questions is of course always possible. The prices for private lessons apply.
GOOD TO KNOW
INTRODUCTORY LESSON
A trial lesson before definitively registering for a course is of course always possible. However, please do not bring your dog.
HUNDHOCH2 requests brief prior written notification via contact form should a trial training session be desired (see menu bar "Contact").
Once confirmed by HUNDHOCH2, nothing stands in the way of the sniffing session.
PLEASE NOTE
Please do not feed the puppy for approximately 2 hours before training sessions.
All dogs participating in lessons must be microchipped and registered with AMICUS and their local municipality.
All puppies participating in training must be adequately vaccinated, dewormed and healthy (no diarrhea, vomiting, coughing or similar symptoms).
Accompanying persons are of course permitted. Children must be supervised accordingly.
Please bring the following EQUIPMENT to every training session:
- Several poop bags.

- Food pouch for treats (with waist strap or for attaching to a belt).
- Soft, attractive, and rather small treats (pea-sized), about three handfuls.

- In wet/cold weather, possibly a raincoat or thermal coat for sensitive dogs.
- In wet weather, possibly a towel to dry the dog.
- Durable clothing and weather-appropriate footwear.
HOW TO GET THERE
ARRIVAL

- There is an obligation to clean up after your dog.
- For puppies, we recommend traveling by car.
- Parking spaces are available. You can find out where to park on the “Training location” page.

- Training lessons take place regardless of the weather.
- If HUNDHOCH2 has to cancel training for weather-related reasons (hail, storm, etc.), you will be informed in advance.
